ENTRY INTO KOREA

The process outlined below is from information checked on August 2023.

No Coivid 19 Vaccine is required for entry into South Korea at this time.

STEP 1.

This step of the entry process into South Korea has been temporarily exempted to 22 countries from April , 2023 to December 31, 2024. The list of 22 countries/ regions for temporary exemption of K-ETA are Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Macao, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, UK, US (including Guam)

K-ETA is Temporarily suspended for 22 countries

Check the stay period allowed for the country you are from (if exemption list above is not applicable)

  • a passport, valid email, face image (can be taken electronically), credit/debit card (approx$10 USD)

  • Take care not to use non-official sites or agencies for K-ETA when applying.

  • Allow a minimum of 72 hrs for results

STEPS 2 & 3.

  • This step can be done either electronically before you leave for South Korea or manually at the airport.

STEP 4.

  • Forms for immigration and customs are usually handed to you on the plane.

  • Pack a pen in your carry-on so you don't need to ask a flight attendant when filling out the forms.

  • Before you board, screenshot your accommodation details in Korea (on phone) so you can view them on the plane without internet access.
